Our membership is 40-50 strong and originates from Port Townsend, Sequim and Port Angeles, and other peninsula communities. In its twenty years of existence, Peninsula Singers has become a multifaceted enterprise that brings people out into the community to enjoy our choral music and support the local economy.
We are made up of people who live on the Olympic Peninsula and mostly love it. We are engineers, teachers, business owners, housewives, and retirees. Some of the us are schooled in music, but we all sing for the pleasure of making great music in a group setting.
Our Credo
We believe music and fine arts enriches people's lives and strengthens community bonds. We are dedicated to making chamber music, in its broadest sense, a vital part of life here on the Olympic Peninsula and to promoting artistic excellence in our local communities.
We strive to:
•Perform the world's greatest choral music, providing nourishment to listeners and performers.
•Provide those trained in choral singing an opportunity for lifelong musical involvement.
•Explore a repertory varying from art and folk songs to classical and musical theatre.
